In late 2023, Diageo launched
The Cocktail Collection, their series of premium, ready-to-serve cocktails made with some of their most iconic spirit brands.
The public perception of pre-made cocktails was overly sweet, cheap alternatives so we needed to find a way to show that The Cocktail Collection wasn’t just another pre-made cocktail, but a top-shelf replacement.
The Strategy
To make a great cocktail, you have to have the ingredients, the recipe, the tools… all for just one drink? It’s a lot of work and the juice isn’t always worth the squeeze.
We wanted to simply communicate how with The Cocktail Collection, you can say goodbye to the hassle of cocktail creation.
The Work
Our campaign centered on the visual of repurposing cocktail shakers into everyday objects, to show that with our product, you’re going to have to find another use for your cocktail shaker.
Our campaign was launched on a full-spread page in the New York Times, as well as in Times Square.
